## Choose your service level

Not all urgent cargo is equally urgent. Three levels to balance speed and cost — and pay for exactly the urgency you need.

| Level | Transit | Best for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Express | 1–2 days ATA approx. | First available flight, direct when one exists. For line-down situations, critical warranties and dates that will not move. |
| Standard | 3–5 days ATA approx. | The balance for inventory replenishment and planned launches: fast, at a better rate than express. |
| Deferred | 5–7 days ATA approx. | Via consolidation: the speed of air at the lowest possible cost, for cargo that needs to fly but can wait for the next departure. |

Airport-to-airport (ATA) times, approximate by lane and availability. Door to door adds pickup at origin and clearance at destination.

## Frequently asked questions

### When does air freight make sense over ocean?

When the cost of waiting outweighs the cost of flying: launches with a hard date, replenishing stocked-out inventory, high value-per-kilo goods, or the spare part that stops a production line. For dense, high-volume cargo with no urgency, ocean almost always wins on cost.

### How is air freight priced?

By chargeable weight: the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (volume ÷ the airline’s factor). Light but bulky cargo pays by volume. Our load calculator works out the chargeable weight of your shipment from your real carton dimensions.

### How fast does an air shipment arrive?

By service level: express in roughly 1–2 days airport to airport, standard in 3–5, deferred in 5–7 via consolidation. Door to door adds pickup at origin and clearance at destination — with documents ready, air clearance usually resolves in hours or a few days.

### Which goods are restricted from flying?

Dangerous goods — lithium batteries, aerosols, flammable liquids, strong magnets, among others — require special declaration, packaging and paperwork, and some airlines will not take them. Tell us what you move before booking and we confirm the real requirements and options.

### Can I track my air shipment?

Yes: every shipment is tracked by its air waybill (AWB) with milestones in the platform — pickup, arrival at the airport, wheels up, landing and clearance — with alerts if anything changes.
